Location Location Location!!!

Be it Nature or Urban - I just think that locations are so important to a shoot- they can tell a story or just add so much to an image. So I spend a LOT of time traveling around and finding cool and different locations to shoot in. This location I found a while back and have been wanting to shoot there - some artistic nudes and some fashion -- If I can find the time! I passed by it only to see people are beginning to CLEAN it up!!! This happens to me ALL the time - I find a location -shoot once (often a test shoot on my way to a shoot) and WHAM something radically changes the location and the shots that I got - end up to be the ONLY shots. Such is life... always changing -- like they say " You have to seize the day!" So I need to shoot this place soon! =)

Parts to Make a Whole

Since I have been back home and have been looking for what kinda artwork I really want to focus on... I have decided that I want to be "responsible" with the things that I already have... OR... Is it that I just want to CLEAN up and make room?! haha - In either way, I had decided to work on some more Assemblage work. In the last few days I have made about 10 new pieces from stuff that I have been collecting over the last year or so. Here are a few UNFINISHED pieces... 

I am always picking up lil random junk off the ground... things that just catch my eye... I think that it is really cool to just find something that you find artistically interesting or "valuable." Then to piece it all together to create something new with it. I also like that if everyone was to pick up a few random things and EVEN just toss it in the trash the city would look better and save money/ people would feel better about what they are doing... - the lil things.
