New Screen Prints

I have been working on a few new screen prints from some models I worked with a while back - taking some of my old photography and reworking it into new forms of art. I am hoping to find a way to incorporate this into some of my future work.

Work in Progress: Stencil / Woodblock

Been working on a few spray paint stencil pieces -- This is some of the work in progress... I want to mix on layers of paint and maybe do something else to it like collage? I will just have to see where it leads as it progresses. I also started a woodblock print, but then was not sure how I want to make the thin lines/ If I will make it a reduction print? - So I have put it off to give it some more thought.

Self Portrait - Screen Print / Spray Paint

Here is the self portrait that I was working on - The top image has the spray painted stencil attempt that I did for fun - I decided to blend it into the background by mixing another stencil pattern and mixing it all up with spray paint -- then when I finished I took my self portrait that I made a screen print of  - and printed that on top.  -- I did a few other ones too. I like the way it came out...

Self Portrait - Stencil/ Spray Paint

Started this a few weeks ago but then I have been really busy working during the weekends and then prepping for other artwork during the week -- So I FINALLY finished cutting the stencil and was able to make some time to test it out - I like the way it came out  - but really I am just glad to have finished it! I hate having a piece almost done and then you just have it hanging over your head - and having to wait to get time to finish it.     .... I still might make a few changes - but it is just really nice to see a finished piece!
